"My son and I moved in about a month ago- we are new to the area. Compared to other rentals in the Port Huron/St Clair region you cannot beat Dutton Estates. We live on the first floor, and it’s surprisingly quiet. We love the kitchen, wood floors, and big rooms. *** I am editing my original post. When we initially moved in the washer/dryer closet hookup in our unit was not large enough for our standard size washer/dryer. They spent this entire week bringing the wall out, and now the doors shut. Amazing of them. We love it here!"

Pet Policy
Dix Estates is a pet-friendly community where we allow both cats and dogs. There is a maximum of 2 pets allowed per residence. Pet rent is $40 per pet, per month. There is also a $350 one-time fee per pet. We do have restrictions on certain dog breeds, such as American Pitbull Terrier, American Bulldog, American Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Alaskan Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Samoyed, Siberian Husky, Doberman Pinscher, Chow, Great Dane, St. Bernard, Wolf Hybrid, & Akita. In addition, any crossbreeds of these types are not permitted. Tenants are required to provide a picture of their dog, vet records, and a payment to register the dog. The weight limit for dogs is 80 lbs. We do not allow exotic animals or other types of pets.
